About this project
Trondheim Central Station is a major new transport hub in the heart of Trondheim, designed by Arkitema and constructed by Veidekke. With parts of the building extending over active railway tracks and a cantilevered façade, the project required a façade access strategy capable of supporting both routine maintenance and more demanding operations such as glazing replacement.
Working together with Veidekke, Høyden Global developed an integrated solution providing safe access to the façades while responding to the limited working space and complex building geometry.
Our scope of delivery
Roof-mounted davit arm systems for façade access and lifting operations
Rigid anchor post solutions for façade access
Certified fall protection systems
Integrated access strategy for façade maintenance and window replacement
All anchor points are engineered to a minimum load of 14kN. The system was modelled in full 3D and delivered as an IFC file for cross-discipline coordination.
